Zoom

Zoom is a video conferencing application that lets a group of people see and hear each other online, share their screens, and chat in real time. It is not a trading tool itself; it is the software many trading educators and communities, including TrueTrader, use to run live sessions.

In a trading context, "Zoom" usually refers to the morning session where a host shares their trading screen, so everyone watching can see the same charts, price action, and order entry the host is looking at, while narrating their reasoning out loud. Participants can typically ask questions in a text chat panel or, depending on the host's settings, unmute and speak.

The nuance worth knowing is that what you see on someone else's shared Zoom screen is their view, on their setup, often with a delay of a second or more, and their trade decisions reflect their own account size, risk tolerance, and rules. Watching a live Zoom session is useful for learning process and market context, but it is not the same as having your own analysis or your own trade plan, and prices or setups can move before you could act on what you just saw.

Zoom itself has no bearing on execution speed, order routing, or market data quality, since those come from your broker and data feed, not from the video call.
