Rocket Lab shorts and a patient Intel long carried the morning
Hood's premarket spike pulled the desk in first and gave the least back — fast, wide, and hard to place a stop in, and a couple of those longs came off before they could work. The day turned on Rocket Lab, where our desk traders shorted the previous day high with the stop stated up front, covered into the flush, then re-entered off VWAP as a deliberate starter with room to add. An Intel long was the quiet one: the planned scale at VWAP was missed, the rest was held rather than chased, and the remainder filled lower down.
The morning in figures
Net points are per share. Apply your own size to get your own number: at 1,000 shares, 5.65 points is $5,650.00. At 100 shares it is $565.00. At one share it is $5.65. The desk publishes the move, not a dollar result, because the dollars depend entirely on how you size, and that is your decision rather than ours.

The 1h 10m session is on the other side of this.
Everything above is the write-up. This is the morning itself, with the names on every call and the room talking through it.
