What it does
Tracks every stock still carrying a gap from the previous close and alerts when price begins making its way back toward it — covering gap-ups fading and gap-downs recovering equally.
The strategy it serves
Gap-to-close. The trigger adapts to how fast the stock is moving, so a slow drift and a violent retrace are not treated the same. Repeat alerts are throttled per symbol, so a name working back over an hour does not flood the list.
